Senior Manager/Manager - Marketing Communications

Job description

Reporting directly to the Marketing Head, the incumbent will lead the overall Marketing Communications function. A key area within the overall marketing organization, this is a senior level role responsible for setting up the Marketing Communications function that will encompass Brand Management, Public Relations, Sales Enablement etc. Initially, the incumbent could work as an individual contributor. However, based on need a team can report into this role.




Key Skills




  • Engineer, MBA from a premier Tier 1 institute & 8-12 years post qualification experience
  • Deep expertise in marketing communications, brand management, and Public Relations in B2B sphere
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Ability to work closely with other teams such as Demand Generation, Product, and Sales
  • Hands-on experience in vendor management, agency management, copy-writing, design, proofreading and content writing
  • Data-driven and analytical to identify trends and insights and continuously optimize performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Successful track record of developing and implementing brand campaigns




Key responsibility areas




  • Develop brand guidelines for the company and ensure compliance of the same
  • Create communications strategies and formulate appropriate messaging for prospects and clients
  • Develop communication plans, calendars, and campaigns; lead editorial and deliver content according to plans. Proactively revise and modify plans to adapt to marketing requirements
  • Create sales enablement collaterals including value presentations, proposals, case studies; develop thought leadership assets and other forms of communication, marketing, and promotional materials, both offline and online
  • Take total control of all communication aspects – Design, Copy, proofread, review
  • Recommend, implement and maintain website design and content for SEO and sales lead generation
  • Own and manage the overall Public Relations function
  • Identify, hire and manage PR and communications agencies to deliver on the PR & Communications needs
  • Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals
  • Develop fresh ideas - Well versed with new age media and tools
  • Create Corporate Blogs and contents, Mini forums, ms, social media sites to assess attitude about the organization
  • Drive competitive positioning and industry thought leadership
  • Facilitate participation and follow-up for conferences and events (including online)
  • Measure and report effectiveness of activities
